Those numbers would be correct as of 2nd half of 2004, I think. I got it from a Labor Cert discussion thread (from immigrationportal.com) around that time.
like the url of the site you read it at? I am wondering when those numbers were published -- i mean which year they were published? was there any mention of how many applications are still pending at bec?

Due to the denial of your H-1B extension, you did not have any underlying non-immigrant status at the time of filing the H-1B transfer. IF your petition gets approved, normally USCIS will only approve it with consular processing. Assuming your H-1B extension was successful, they will approve a transfer.
8 months is a long time for a pending H-1B. You should immediately follow up. Since it is a premium processing, you should be able to send an email to the premium processing division. I would be very worried if the case is taking so long.

Does this logic hold good for i-140 processing as well? My 140 went through the NSC-CSC-NSC route and I really hope it's processed based on NSC timelines!!
Edit: Wait a minute, 140 times are not even listed in CSC processing times (https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/Processtimes.jsp?SeviceCenter=CSC)

Following is the Employee Agreement
EMPLOYEE agrees and undertakes that EMPLOYEE will continue in the employment of XXXX for the Minimum Period. "Minimum Period" means the period commencing from the date of XXXX applying for the Green Card and ending on the expiry of one year from the date of EMPLOYEE being granted the Green Card.
EMPLOYEE therefore agrees to pay XXXX, before the last day of EMPLOYEEs employment with XXXX, the aforesaid amount of US $10000 as Liquidated
Damages in the event EMPLOYEE breaches Clause hereof failing which XXXX shall have the right to charge such aforesaid amount from the final settlement of the dues to EMPLOYEE.
So If the employee does not pay at the most Employer will do is not give any of the Employee's remaining salary, leaves,Experience Letter etc?
What else he can do?
Does this Agreement is Legal? It is specifically referring to Green Card.
Why dont you send a complaint to DOL, I have seen Indians are really afraid to do so.

Old wine in a new bottle ---- this idea was actively discussed couple of months back. Many people committed to this type of contribution.
Let us see next month when EB2I will start getting lot of approvals. How many IV members contribute once they get GCs.

Friends,
Please contact congress representative from your area before this meeting as time is less and work is more. It is not easy to get appointment with congress representative because of their busy schedule.

We gave for fingerprints 5 days back but our LUD on I-485 is not yet updated. Is this common?
I-485 receipts from NSC.
Most of my friends LUD is updated within 2 days of giving finger prints.
Please post your experiences.

But I definitely want to send Condi a letter reminding her of the contributions of the skilled legal immigrant community to the thriving US economy since ages.
Its because of us skilled immigrants that economy is thriving. Even the US business leaders accept that. We have the skills to setup new companies and create new jobs for everyone.

Now Do u know who is this with Barack Obama...?
Guys from Chicago should be able to tell for sure....

Raja Krishnamoorthi - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raja_Krishnamoorthi)
What's the big deal?
In Zee TV fair in USA, Indians get thier photos taken with film stars and TV serial stars.
I have seen people getting photos with Amitabh Bachhan or Shahrukh khan.
Does it make them a film star or even give them a break in films?

I know it includes FB application but that is easily offset by EB-CP also seeking visa numbers.
So the wait time is really very long for July 2007 filers with later PD.

The only good part is that they are not jerking the dates back and forth. Hopefully this is a sign that dates are not going to retrogress any further.
If they apply quarterly spill over, we should see some movement in December. Lets wait and see......
What else ?

Hi guys,
my h1 got approved on 21st of april 2009.
Bolt,
Could you please update this post? Per the post, I got some points:
1. Your H1B transfer denied and your I-94 card is expired
2. You filed H1B transfer again using premium processing
3. You got approval
Did you get a new I-94 card since your I-94 is expired?
Do you need to leave the USA for stamp?

I am a July 2nd filer with PD of OCT 2006. I am planning to switch my employer using EAD. Should I notify USCIS with AC21? What is my best option? What is the risk?
I appriciate your help.
