Some of the customer reviews on the iTunes download page are very critical of the controls for some games. Not sure how well they've ported these to the touch screen interface....
Depends on if you look further than the displayed controls. By that I mean, with Tempest there is a slider on the left that lets you rotate around the play field and firing buttons on the right. However, what many miss is that you can control the entire movement around the screen by touch.
Same for centipede/millipede/etc. Apparently most have a simulated control on the screen but they also have touch capability for movement control on the game surface as well.

For $100, you'd expect so. This is a thread about free tools and SilverKeeper is one of them.

There's been reports of battery issues to. I haven't tested it myself, but it seems like I'm getting less battery life since 4.3.1, which is what many others have been saying. I don't know how widespread this isssue is, though.
I would say my battery life is worse as well, and I would not see why this would not be affecting everyone running 4.3.1. So I am looking forward to the update.

Also for fun - try enabling password for the screensaver and 60 minute idle logout. Then put your laptop to sleep and come back 60 min later only to have hung login window that accepts no input - works that way every time for me.
Good thing the screensaver password dialog is the login window itself (even the same exact process) in Lion then, huh?

You'd be surprised how many people reluctantly put up with AT&T's abysmal service just so they can have an iPhone.
People like me, who really like the iPhone but consider AT&T unbearable, are using older generation unlocked iPhones on T-Mobile, which, despite any of its faults, is far superior to AT&T.
I'm looking forward to getting my Verizon iPhone. I'm saddened to be leaving T-Mobile (their customer service is excellent, and their pricing and optional services are top-notch), but Verizon offers better reception in my house.
But see you are not leaving AT&T now, you are leaving T-Mobile.

So I got my Photoshop on Mac last year and somehow, I think I accidentally pressed something. I used to have a transparent background whenever I use it so I can see the desktop but now it's all gray and boring. How do I turn it back? I have the Translucent option checked btw. Thanks for any help that will come.

It's a shame there weren't any record stores around back then, able to sell music on a form of portable media - sort of like those discs software comes on. You know, CDs. But for music! What a concept!
Anyone who downloaded from Napster with the excuse that they couldn't find contect elsewhere (like via Tower Records and a CD ripping program) is just plain lame...
It was the only way to get a single track from a CD, which is really the appeal of iTMS, not so much the fact it's a download.

and for the "under the roof" argument: i give you a hint it's the girlfriends parents roof not yours
is it possible to prevent "them having sex" ? as said before: not really
and still i haven't heard a reason why he shouldn't have sex ? :confused: he is old enough isn't he ?
at 18 i knew what the risks were .. i already knew at 15 as well .. i doubt my parents would have had a problem with staying at a girls house (i didn't do it since i had a girlfriend untill later) and they wouldn't have been able to stop me either ;)
it's not the problem of the child that the parents perhaps had bad experiences or are afraid of the idea "of the little boy growing up" and making his own experiences without the parents
