ONLINE CASE STATUS SYSTEM DELAYS
USCIS is experiencing delays of several weeks in entering new information to the online case status system on their public website. Even though a receipt may have been issued in a case, the online system may not accurately reflect the current status of a July Visa Bulletin adjustment case or a related application. The USCIS is reportedly working on the problem, but has not indicated when the information delays will be resolved.

What are the documents required for EAD application assuming that I-485 application is already filed?
At the time of applying for I-485, I didnot intend to apply for EAD.But after seeing a lot of application applied during July 2007, I realised that it may take years to get the Green card.So it is better to have a EAD in case if something happens to my job in the meantime.

Would appreciate if some one can guide me in this situation.
Filed 485 on 11th aug but as fedex packet was not traceable I had to file again on 16th of August.

How do I stop the 2nd application.What will happen If I do a stop payment on the 2nd one.
Will it affect my GC processing fot the application filed first time.

As a loyal reader of greatandhra.com shared a blasphemous incident with us through mail and we have written and uploaded that news yesterday. And that is about Lord Ganesh�s picture on beer bottles made by one of the US breweries.

Countless mails have inundated the mail box of greatandhra.com admin with sharing of anguish by hundreds of readers for this blasphemous act of that breweries company. They stated that they have contacted that Lost Coast Brewery with a complaint and also forwarded the response mails from that company. All the forwarded mails have got the same �copy-paste� response from Lost Coast GM/Sales. Here is that:
�Your words, thoughts and beliefs are part of a culture that I personally respect and believe that the owner group of the brewery share with me. Please note that I will act to evaluate this issue and meet directly with the owner group towards mitigating your concerns. You have contacted the correct person for your concerns and they have not fallen upon deaf ears. Best Regards, Harmony and Peace.

It is good that many are fighting with that company to see the bottles removed from stalls immediately. The follow up on this incident requires continuous force and Hindu community should see that such blasphemy will not repeat again. And also ensure that those beer bottles are not in market with Lord Ganesh or any other divine picture of Hindu religion. Some suggested to make this news reach Sivasena, RSS and VHP as well. And we wish our readers do that as the voice of thousands will be louder than that of one.

You may not be in position to get exp letters from previous employers due to various reasons e.g., company is closed or they give exp letters in a set format which does not mention what you did there.
In such scenarios Experience letter from X-Colleague or X-Manager from the same company with/under whom you worked will be OK. X-colleague/Manager does not have to be in that company now.
I gave an experience letter to one of my friends who worked in my group in India.
He got his EAD.
Ask the lawyer what kind of language should be there on the exp letter... My friends lawyer gave the language to him.
The person issuing the exp letter has to mention how he knows the applicant and under what capacity you were working,
contact information etc etc.

Since his i140 is approved he should be eligible for H1B 3 yrs extension. I think it does not matter even if has changed employer.

I got 485 Card production order and welcome notice email yesterday . I am assuming that means I got PR . my company has filed for H1 -B extension last week itself . what will happen to that extension , do we need to revoke/withdraw that petition ?
has anyone being in this situation ?

I think you are in H1 status now. When your Passport is stamped with H4 then your status will be changed to H4. If you want to work again then you need to change again to H1 with change of status

If you have the case no. go to online case status and take the print out of approved notice, that should serve you purpose hopefully if you don�t have a original copy

But what about labor cert?
I have no idea what was filed for me? job description or salary req.???
All this time I was thinking I am ready for AC21 if needed, but if above is true, I am in trouble. (so many others have same issue)
why we need photocopies? WHY USCIS expects us to have those? They are considered employer documents and most established employers do not share them with employees?

A potential employer has offered me to substitute 2001 EB3 labor. Would DOL accept unapproved labor substitution ? what is the probability of rejection (assuming there is very good match).

hi i got an RFE for ability to pay, my pay was 55K ( it had to be 66K ) last year 2006 on my W2, my RFE asked me on ability to pay where my labor was approved on feb2006, so i had to show that my employer has the ability to pay till date.
So my lawyer, wrote a simple letter to the USCIS, that my current paystubs shoed that my employer is paying me the salary ( i have it on 66K this year 2007 ) also he sent my employers tax records, he has a good profit, and then my 2 recent paystubes & my last years w2
