As far as I know, if you re-enter using AP, you should just be fine..I would not get the H1B stamp and enter on H1....
I'm not an expert on this, Remember reading in the forum, you can go to local USCIS office with the approval letter if you have one already and get stamped in passport.
On other thread, also read you can reenter using AP and the IO in the POE will tell you that your Petition has been already approved and will let you in.
Please verify this with an attorney.

from the regional Passport Office? They probably issue a standard PCC.

The employer took initial money from us to pay for the H1 fees promising that once project got started he would pay back. But during search for a project he mentally harassed us a lot. Luckily my PD became current, my wife got EAD and we could work independently. We were thinking of complaint against him to DOL. We have even prepared the case with all the documents and everything.
We were ready to send it but yesterday we came across a case of one Vishal Goyal who sued Patni for paying him low wages. Patni then threatened to harm his family in india if he doesent withdraw the case.

Dear All,

Before i stayed in place "X " which comes under nebrasaka centre, applied for 485, ead and ap. my company also in " X " only.
Right now i am in place " Y " which comes under Texas centre ( because of my job i moved recently) . Now i want to renew my ead and ap my self . my job, payroll and living is in place " Y " only.
But my pemanent address is " X " only. I want to continue that for my full GC process.
what my question is what i have to mention the address for my ead and ap renewal ?

Not sure now, but back in 2007-2008 they did file EB2, I have 2 friends on eb2 waiting to get their GC. one is already left Oracle after 180 days of I-485 filing and another is still working.
Not to scare you just for your info which I heard in rare case if oracle lays off they don't care which stage of your GC process is in.

both the parties have decided not to touch immigration at all this year (till elections) they have decided against any increase in any numbers (h1b's, GC's) etc, so much so that the senate are requesting chertoff (homeland security secretary) to increase the OPT time for international student to 2.5 years so they can temp overide the h1b jam.

There are also other skill sets like Medicine, Nursing and other areas where there are well documented shortages, the issues of these fields have been held up in the overall debate over H1bs. Legislators are aware they have to address these also.

It happened to me as well, Last year my denied my Wife AP the Reson was that her 485 is approved, we send them the letter that its not the case and it was a mistake.....In the end we had to re- apply. I wonder if they can Print it on the same day in case of an emergency, why can't they give you the one which is already approved....weired people ...weired USCIS...

I don't have an answer to your question, but it seems a Cognovit Promisory Note could exist only between a creditor and debtor, not between an employer and employee.
I am really surprised your employer went to this circuitous way to bond you for your employment obligation. Do take your note's language and consult a good attorney. This is some uncharted territory. Shows how creative these unscrupulous employers are. Still you may have a way out, if you can prove it is employment obligation related.
I thought the same thing but then I researched some more and I found out that this kind of notes basically gives the holder the power to go to court and get (easily), a court order to retrieve the owned amount from the other party's account. It generally applies to a Creditor Debtor relationship, but doesnt end there. ( i may be wrong ).
Dont be surprised, the guys is covering all corners, so that in no way he gets in trouble. it just instates that fact he's good, which somehow doesnt work in my favour.

I think that to move to EB2 with the same employer, it may be possible to count experience from the same employer if the new role you are moving to is atleast 50% different from what you are doing in your current role.
